Hectare’s started as a Kentucky grown tea company with a passion for health, wellness, and giving back. Over the course of several years, the tea product faded out to make room for a focus on cannabis. While true to their original pillars and core reason for being, changing hands and product left the current close-knit team in need of help to sell their vision to consumers. Their website was the first obvious touchpoint.

The website relaunch had to encapsulate the brand’s essence to truly bring it to life.

The new website needed to be an experience, with the products at the center of focus, but it also needed to be the embodiment of the brand behind the product as it would serve as customers’ primary interface for engagement. So, we worked with the client to rebuild their brand from the ground up. With intent to really capture the Hectare’s brand essence—its personality, values, and how they manifest—as the guiding light for all work to come, we overhauled the choice of photographs, color, and even tone of voice.

To illuminate the honesty and purity of the Hectare’s brand we meticulously curated a presentation of their products that emphasized the natural ingredients through a raw photographic style. An interactive graphic dial for the Hectare’s wellness shots indicated the best time for the user to consume them and warm, stylized photographs told the brand’s health and heritage story.

The experience echoed the brand’s spirit of craftsmanship, integrity, and a commitment to safe, botanical products.
